1994 318i m43 vs 2000 lancer base model
friend keeps trying to start this race with me, wats my chance?
i know if it was a race track with cornering i would own his rice box fwd pos but in a straight drag race,
btw they are both auto's
And both Australian cars "small differences on both cars i think compared with usa"
eg mines a m43 where usa was an m42
i'd say u got the race...u got a RWD which will help u launch on him...and after ur ahead from the beginning, i say u can take him all the way! good luck!

nahh, from personal experience the '96 318i is extremely slow and will lose, fuck believe it or not i got beaten (from 0-60 km/h) by 1991 chrysler voyager (boxy vans sometimes it has wooden panel on the exterior), but I did have 4 people in my car. But still it fucking sucks.

but for now, i need to work out if i can win vs this lancer, his car has 88,000 k's mine has 36,000 k's so as far as engine in top conditio i win there, his using stock 15" tyres im using pirelli p6000 "rear" 225/45/17 and continentals compack sports 225/45/17 on the front
straight up reve that sucker up to 5K, and slam it into drive. You will win and lose at the same time if you know what I mean. (don't do that)

A lancer is a friggin joke. You'll beat it with anything. It's a slow ass econo box. Don't let the Lancer EVO fool you, it has nothing in common with that car except the body. Honestly, I'd rather have a Toyota Echo than a Lancer.
