318i With Dual Exaust Pipes?

Hi My exaust is very rusty, I think it will soon be defect!

Well... I have a 1998 318i (4cyl, M44). I want a better exaust than what I have now (probably the original part). I like the 2 pipes exausts... will it be possible to have this or it's only for 6cyl. cars? I don't want to pay too much for an exaust... any suggestions?

you could do it but it would be pretty expensive and it wouldnt be a true dual exhaust since they would spilt the one pipe running to the exhust to 2.

i know it would be easier to do it with a 6cyl, since its dual allready, (2 pipes going into 1 muffler) but i don't see why u can't do it with a 4 cyl? go and check out a muffler shop, and see what they say!

Anyone tried this brand? Is Ansa good? It looks nice (visually), not like big ugly honda civic's muffler...

I have it on my 318i. It is not a big deal at all. Go to a BMW shop or certified shop, ask for it, pay for it, pick the car up.

You may need a seperate body shop, however, as you need to have the cut for the muffler enlarged on the back of the car.
