First, just wana say hello to everyone as I have just registered. I had a 95 318 is and have now bought a 96 318 is coupe 1.9 16v. It looses power when cold, cuts off & comes back on, then when it warms up fully, its seems fine! It seems to ideal slightly lower than my last one, and I have swaped over the exhaust from old 1, seems to have made it worse. Any ideas?
Wow I never thought someone could portray an unintelligible British accent through text. Congrats, I doubt you'll get any help now.
Problem sorted anyway pal! Ps im from Northern Ireland ya dopey cunt, and I think you will find, that there is no such thing as a british accent, it would either be english, scotish etc etc. So you have what??, a 323is wow m8, bet you think your well lash lol, no match for my renault 5 gt turbo tunned to the tit's, the 318is is a run about, so who gives a fuck bot power, now FUCK AFF twat!
I think it was a fault with the charging system! I noticed this when I left the ignition on 1 day there, and the battery drained very quick, i had been doin long distance driving every day for a while & never noticed it loosing power again, until the car wasn't drove for a day, then it happened again! The car has now had a new alternator & battery, so far so good, as it hasn't happened again yet!
I can't help you with the problem (anyway, you say it's already solved), but please watch your language. Learn to withstand critical sounds, argue about it in a mature way without getting filthy and become no linguistic aggressor. I don't like to ban people, I rather drink a Guinness with them. Cheers!
