My 1995 316i has had probs starting. I have changed battery, however, somedays takes upto 20 key turns to start, sometimes just clicks, sometimes buzzs, sometimes turns but no start. If bump start it goes!
Also how do I find paint colour and is there any good suppliers for touch up sticks in U.K.?
Any ideas please!!

One thing sounds like the starter motor but then you say sometimes cranks ok but wont start, this is a strange one from what you have said I would say ignition switch, its not the barrel that you can see but is an actual switch at the end of the barrel very DIY job.
