Waiting for insurance to total the 318i take the money from that and the $8,000 saved up and use it as a down payment on a 95-98 M3 coupe, my most wanted car.

Am I the only one who gets ass in my car?.. haha

P.S. try to get your girl to do it while your driving on the highway.. kills two things at once... its the real reason for cruise control on a standard car.. :p

What do you need to know? I physically unbolted the compressor, took it out. Unbolted the condensor, evaporator and tensioner + mount, then grinded off some lines and removed it all.

My to do list:

- Pay off car
- De-virganize car
- Wait for the snow to melt so I can get out of my driveway
- Yellow or maybe a blue top altima battery

That is all.

well me too - im gonna have sex in my convertible this year - might be a bit of a challenge seen as theres not much room in the convertible - even less than the coupe!

also going to change the mirrors for M3 styles, also possibly installing an M3 illuminated gear lever.

want to give my car head-light wash system, but am unsure whether this is possible? - does anyone know if it is?

Rich,

It's possible...

Here's the part number for the new-style ('97) nose piece with washer cutouts: 41 33 8 225 982 retail: $125.00

Here are the part numbers for the grilles:
Grille (L): 51 13 8 195 151 retail $20.75
Grille ®: 51 13 8 195 152 retail $20.75

That's it. Just add about $100 to $150 for paint, and you're all set.

Regarding the headlight washers, you'll probably want the factory retrofit
kit, which includes the washer nozzles, telescopes, tubing, relays, wiring,
control module, etc. You'll also need to buy a new 5L washer fluid tank, and
the additional headlight washer pump. Here are the part numbers:

Retrofit kit: 82-19-9-404-447 Retail: $630.00
Pump: 61-67-8-357-839 Retail: $76.50
Tank: 61-67-8-366-420 Retail: $38.50
