Cool 20"s on an 94 325i?

Im thinking about ordering a set of black 20" rims and tires for my 1994 325i and I was wondering if anyone knows if they will rub or have had any difficulties with a 20 inch rims on suck a small car? 20x8.5 on a 225/30/20. Lemme know, thanks.

dude thats too big. i had 18s and they barely fit in the wheel well. 19 is the biggest you can go.

Thats not true I've seen 3 in my town with 20", I'm really just curious as whether the 8.5 width is too much or if I need to go with a 7.5 width. Even the wheel shops I've looked at say a 20 will fit, but I think that might be too wide. I'll post pix when I get em on.

20s will fit, with a fender roll, and u will have virtually no tire and cannot lower ur car....bad idea...19's are ok for show...18s are better for show and driving, 17's are the best for performance...

Man, don't waste your money. Get either 17" or 18".

I'm only 22 (23 in 7 days w00t), but I love old cars.. I had a hell of a time putting on my 17"'s on my e30, and when I get another e30 Ill never go bigger then 16, and that'd only be to clear a IE BBK or something.

Big rims + real life driving = poor fuel economy, poor performance, and 100% certainty that you will bend your rims within a year.

I plan on 16's on my e30 as well, great drive, and great performance and way less chance of denting and bending
