Should I clean my ICV valve with carburetor cleaner?

Should I change my origanal oem floor mats to the all weather rubber?

i cleaned mine with some vodka, then dried it out and sprayed some wd 40 inside of it ..

about floor mats.. it is entirely up to you.. if you want to save your summer mats during winter, than buy rubber mats.

Is it that easy to clean the ICV yourself? Ive skimmed over some DIYs for it but I couldnt decide whether I should try it myself or pay to get it done. My car is idling really really really bad.

it is not really hard as long as you know where it is and can reach for it.

it is pain in the ass to remove and especially put it back and i spent about 3 hours total doing it very carefully..

actual cleaning is easy and fast but because of its location on 6 cyl. cars, you might have to remove some of airways and mass air valve.
