did BMW start to put metal waterpumps on 1997 bimmers and later, or was it always plastic? also has anybody here done the fan delete mod? if so, how did it turn out? for those of you that dont know what this mod is or does check out http://www.understeer.com/ and click on the link that says:"How to do the famous fan mod"
im gonna do the fan delete next spring ill let you know how it goes. as for the waterpump situation, if it blows it blows. i honestly have no idea when they decided to put metal in or if they did at all
