1999 Headlights on A 1992 Headlight

hey everybody,

i was just wondering if the 1999 3-series bmw headlights fit on a 1992 3-series bmw....and if it does ..how much roughly would it cost? Moreover, if it doesnt, can it be cutomized..and how much would it cost to customize it?

do you mean to replace you e36 lights with e46 lights? if so no they wont and it would be a lot of work to make it fit.

E36 headlights are universal but the e46 will not fit in unless you do some customizing

for paint, body, and the e46 assembly Im going to estimate between 2-3 thousand if done well.

You will need a custom hood or a heavily modified e46 hood, custom made trim ring at base of hood and headlights, custom or modified front quarter panels, the headlights themselves, and paint.

Just get headlight surrounding and eyebrows that make your ellipsoids with angel eyes look like E46. These plastic parts are pretty cheap.
