1999 328ic convertable rear seat removal

I have a rear window that quite working, the fuse and the switch are good.
Does anyone know how to remove the back portion of the rear seat and rear side panel in order to access the rear window motor/regulator in an e36 convertable? The bottom seems to just lift and and is not bolted in, I have already removed the bottom,
Is there a simple solution to removing the back half?

Although I don't have the manual in front of me, my memory says that you need to:
1- Remove both head rests [I had to use a wood 2x4 to lift {really tight}]
2- Remove the center arm rest
3- Behind the center arm rest is a woofer [I can't remember if there are bolts/screws involved there, but try it]
I think that was it to the back removal
