1999 323is Driver Window issue

Hello everyone,
I have a 1999 323is (Coupe), as you know the driver window is supposed to go up automatically when pressed all the way. Mine does not go up automatically I have to keep my finger on the button until it goes all the way up. The other part of the problem is as you know coupes go slightly down automatically when door is opened and slightly back up when door is closed. My driver side does not do that.
Does anyone know what the problem could be? I'm guessing the two problems are related, and I recently changed the motor and the regulator looks fine.

most likely the plastic white sliders in the regulator are broken
they are cheap at the bmw dealer and are in stock usually
u can get the door panel with a torx bit ad a flat head screw driver
u will prbably need a needle nose plyers to put the clip back in the slider

I had the problem of it not going up when I pressed it all the way down, my problem was some dirt had gotten on the sensor that tells when something is in the way and I cleaned it off then it went back to working like a charm.
