No, not everything, they just look the same to me. Are the engines the same? Also, will M5 replica rims fit on the white car?

ok. Its easier to list what is the same than what is not. Basicallly the only thing that remains constant throughout the car is the chasis, some of the interior, and various engine components like alternator, powersteering and AC.

Everything else is either more powerfull, larger displacement, wider, more leathery, more tuned, or cooler looking.

And yes the m5 wheels will fit on the white car, they will fit on any bmw except the e30 (and older)

Depending on the year, E36 M3's have a 3.2/ litre engine with 240HP/236ft-lbs

E36 328's have a 2.8/9ish litre engine with 190HP/206ft-lbs

The M3 also has a better differential.

Wanna buy some M5 replica rims to fit the 328? They are about $800 shipped with Center caps, Lugs, and Valve stems. Let me know if your interested.

yeah im not sure about 10,000 between a 1998 m3 and a 1998 328 its not that big of a gap in money if both the cars had the same mileage sure if the 328 had 130000 and the m3 had 50000 then i could see 10000$ but other than that!

I think it's very clear from the pictures above what the difference is: 328 faces right, M3 faces left

<span style='color:green'>1994 325i </span>- - - 75,000 mi.
No mods - - - very happy as is!
<span style='color:green'>1995 525i </span>- - - 154,000 mi.
No squeaks or rattles... unreal!
