1997 328is Suspension type?

I wanted to replace my struts , but it lists sport and regular suspention
Does anyone know how I can tell if my 328is has sport or "regular" suspension?
Is there a code in the VIN?

Thanks In Advance
Joe

what are you replacing them with? from where? struts are struts for the e36, the difference between sport and regular is how stiff you want them to be.

The VIN will be able to tell you if you have the sport package or not. Try this website first (Free VIN Decoder) and if that doesn't give you the answer you want you can go to the dealership and they will be able to tell you everything about the car. Hope this helps.
