| 1997 328i vert problems
hi.ive had this tempermental roof issue for sometime now and was wondering if anyone could shed some light...1 minute the roof would work fine no problem.then it wouldnt.then when pressing the button for the roof the windows would drop in 1 inch increments..the last time it worked i pressed the button everything was ok then i nipped indoors came back out and the windows had done themselfs up but the roof was still down.now the all that happens is the light on the roof button just flashes..ive tried to resynch.i even took it to bmw and they charged me £211.60 to tell me they dont no whats wrong except no communication from the cvm module....ive checked the boot wires and they seem ok..i do have a leak from my heater matrix so i have to get the carpet up to dry it out..would that have any effect on the roof..if its wet/damp under carpet?
