1997 318is built.. is it worth picking up???

A guy locally is wanting to trade his 318is for a mustang 5 spd which i may trade mine if he will it is red and looks to be in great shape beside rear bumper, decklid and mayb a slight wrinkle but nothing that cant be worked out on passenger side... here is what he says about it

I have a 1997 bmw 318is coupe has full leather sun roof sub hook up sony face plate has engine work too:
Fully built engine
Forged internals
Subaru sti cams, pistons,rods etc..
Full m racing exhaust system
cold air intake
Stage 2 m racing clutch
High output plugs

Car has body damage as seen in pics but still books over 3k in its condition right now also has over 5k under the hood

sorry this is a long post but im not sure on some of his upgrades and my mustang has as much damage as his so it would be a fair trade if his is worth it as a newbie im here for some guidance and any help or thoughts are greatly appreciated thanks
Trey

I would take a look at it in person. I see it has work done, but was it quality work? that you can't really tell until your looking at it.

Why would you trade your mustang for that? Even with all that work my 328i is still faster...
