1996 316i problems. . .

engine slightly misfires. no go at all. what could be the cause? dirty injectors? worn out spark plugs? what areas should i check first before i go to my mechanic just to be sure.

i also hear noise coming from under the car near clutch assembly when left idle . no noise if i press the clutch pedal. is it the releasing bearing that makes the noise?

tia guys!

As to the miss fire, everything you listed could be a cause. Has the fuel filter been changed?
