Question 1995 BMW 325i won't crank after replacing neutral safety switch

I'm hoping someone out in cyberspace can help with this issue! I have a 95 BMW 325i, automatic, approx 130k miles. Bought this car a couple of months ago and it has been great. Drove the car as usual, parked as usual. Got up and started the car, started perfectly but the shifter was dead stuck in park. Husband opened up the gear shift console and unplugged the neutral safety switch, put it back in....car wouldn't crank! Replaced NSS with a new one...gears shift fine. Still wont crank. Replaced starter relay. Nothing. All lights come on fine....even tried jump starting for giggles. Nothing! Can anyone tell me if there is anything I'm missing?

Have you checked all your fuses and wiring? Their might be a blown fuse or a short somewhere.
