sbrunner78 n00b Join Date: Jan 2010 Car: Posts: 1 Photos:	1995 BMW 318i -Severe lurching in 1st gear My wife wife has driven my 318 for the past year, and now when I drive it, it has severe lurching while in 1st gear. The lurching is worse if I am driving up a hill. Two additional conditions; the idol speed is now about 1100 rpm (formerly about 750 rpm), and while idling at a stop light the 'Check Engine' light comes on occasionally and then goes off when I start accelerating. Any ideas as to the cause of this issue, what might be failing, or where to look? Regards, Scott
