1995 325i convertible-vibration felt in steering wheel

I have many miles on my BMW. A few months ago my brake replace light came on. Unfortunately I did not address the situation for about two more months. Just before i did have the brakes replaced I noticed that when I put on the brakes immediately thereaftr I could hear a noise like I need a new belt for my powere steering, which I believe I have, and a vibration in the steering wheel. It was not continous however. I had the brakes and the belts replaced yet still have this condition all be it does not seem as bad. Any ideas for me?

Sounds like maybe your brake rotors are warped.

I agree!... warped rotors cause vibration on braking.

Either have them turned if they haven't reached minimum thickness; or consider replacing them if they are no longer serviceable...
