Managed to get myself a hold on a 95' 316i for my first car and first thing i did was install a new head unit into it. Sounds quite nice with the stock amp + speakers so i'm pretty proud. Now here's the problem. The clock that sits on the left hand side of the stereo came out during installation and now I cant put the damn thing back together because the outside wont clip back in. Anyone have any tips for this? Is there a way to remove the black plastic bit that goes infront of the aircon controls? Thanks in advance.
did you buy a ti? doesn't sound like you are describing the dash of an i. Unless you car has one of the actual clocks and not the digital readout. is it possible to post pics?

Here are some snaps I took today in the sun, Sorry about the glare!!
As you can see I cant quite get the clock in... The little snaps that I think are supposed to be holding it up are connected to the main black frame.... If any of this helps lol
Ok I managed to fix the clock by taking off the Glove Box panel and pushing the back of the clock TOWARDS the back of the car, then the front just snapped on. Bit of a hassle just for the little clock.
