1994 E36 front door glass

I'm new to the E36, just graduated up from a 1987 E30. Bought this little 1994 318i 4 door for a great price, but it has an issue. The front passenger's door glass keeps coming out of the front slide rail, then jams. I've re-aligned everything, put the glass into the back track, attached the rear white clip to the regulator, raised the front of the glass into the track and attached the front white clip to the regulator, then when I feel inside, the front edge of the glass has popped out of the track. Anyone with some experience with these windows tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'm eager to learn, and to roll up the windows. Thanks, Rod in San Diego

sometimes the white clips on the regulator get worn and can no longer hold the pins of the window in place. this happens on all cars. it requires replacement of the regulator. also, make sure the tabs on your window are not bent so they can fully engage the regulator

The front track on the bottom of the gl;ass was slightly bent, so I straightened that, and replaced the white clips just for good measure, and it all aligns and works perfectly now. Thanks Justin!!
