sassybmw is an unknown quantity at this point
When we bought our 1994 325i it came with a keyless entry, but it does not work. Does anyone know the steps for programming?

To program the remote for your car, you need to remove your glove box (how to at this link: Glovebox Removal

Next, you open the keyfob/remote and take out the programming chip. Place the chip in the alarm "brains" that you have uncovered behind your glovebox. There is a door on the "brains" that you flip open and place the chip. Next, you push the little button that's also behind the door you flip open and you'll see the red light above your gear shift (next to the cigarette lighter) flash. That's it! Now put everything back together again and you're ready to go.

frank3 or anyone else,

what if i have one existing working remote and i want to program additional pre-program same remote(s) from other vehicle(s) to my car, can i just reprogram the other remotes to my car without reprogram my existing working remote? are the procedures still the same as you've indicated? how many remotes can i have for a '94 325is. thanks.
