I am trying to install a 1995 Apline CHR-600 6-CD changer into my 1994 318, strange thing is that both of the calbes are male, however, the alpine cable has 8pins whereas, the bmw cable has 14pins. Has anyone had this problem?? Can i find an adapter of some sort?

Thanks

If the cables don't match then you have the wrong changer for your model.

my cd changer broke also. not worth it to buy a new one for 600 or a used one that'll break also. just get a new, nice receiver for 300 bucks
