hey!!!

i have a pain in the ass problem! the right indicator light inside the dashboard isnt working!!!! does any1 here know how i can reach it?

oh i bought this car like a week ago nd it has heaps of little problems like this, i decided ill start with that one...

u have to remove the cluster, and change the bulb from behind it!

how do i remove the cluster? is that the whole speedo thing thts shown in the picture? do i pull it out trough the steering wheel?

it's really easy man! there are two screws above the cluster, you take them out and then use a small screwdriver and gently pry out the top of the cluster, if you have tilt steering it makes it easier, however you can just pull it out and take out the three plugs in the back of the cluster. and the bulb is easy to change! write back to tell us how you did

ok thnx...i tried unscrewing the screws with both types of screwdrivers nd an Alan key but i dnt think there is screws in there coz it seems just like a hole (this was all b4 i read ur reply) so ill just try prying out the cluster when its day time again, ill tell u how i get on!

oh nd feel free 2 help me with my other problems 2 hehe....here's a list:

1. the fuse no.1 which is for the electric windows has no Voltage goin to it, so some genious (previous owner), instead of fixing the problem soldered on a wire from the fuse for the lighter (i think fuse no.32) so now all my windows including the sunroof work 24/7, even without the key!!!!

2. oh well not all windows work coz my e36 (not sure if all others do this) has a light in the switch for the windows in the rear seats which is always on, well the one on the left side wasnt working so i pulled it out 2 replace the bulb (but the stupid LED is soldered on) so i put it all back nd now the window doesnt work, not even from the switch at the front! the only thing that works is when i press "up" from the back seats which doesnt achieve much as the window is closed! i probably blew something up coz i touched it with a screwdriver but everythin else still works.

3. MAIN PROBLEM: the engine in the car seems to rev itself and the whole thing seems really lazy! do all e36's have a really crap 1st gear or is it just mine? it doesnt rev itself constantly but when i change gears it seems to like get stuck to where it was reving just b4 i push in the clutch nd press the gas pedal! do u have any idea why this could be? when i try to take off quickly from a standing start it just doesnt happen, it does a little jump nd then it kinda goes, but pretty slow, it gets much faster in 2nd gear, and no its not my crap clutching skills!!!

4. The heating doesnt work, whenever i put the heating on it just blows outside air in without it being hot! nd i smell like burning something! any idea what this could be?

i really do love this car

What kind of steering wheel is that WarNox? I looks different than the normal E36 wheels that come with the color roundel on the airbag pouch.

it has no airbag, i have no idea wht it is, its a 93' if tht helps at all...
