18in wheels on my 325is

I am wondering what width is best on my 93 325is for 18in wheels. I currently have 17 in racing heart wheels. they are staggered and i believe 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear. I probably cant stay this wide with 18 can i? It is a little lower than stock, and rubs a little only if my car is full and i go over bumps on the highway. What do you guys think?

9.5 is pushing it without rolled fenders. Just depends on the offset.

for 9.5 you will definately have to roll fenders to get tires to fit in there. especially since you said you have lowered your car more than an inch in the back.

I ride on 19 by 8 in the front and 19 by 9.5 in the back. It looks sick. I didnt roll my fenders, but I didnt lower my car neither. It rides really smooth, for 19's. I wanted to lower the car, but dont want to ruin the ride. I can post up pics if you want to see.

please do...i have 16x8.5 wheels on my car and they rubbed the outer part of my fender

As you can see the fit is nice, however I am unsure of lowering the car, because its so smooth now. Now I aint going to lie and say its perfect. When I have passengers in the back witch is rare, my moto is 2 doors 2 people. You get a rub when you hit bumbs, nothing major, but you do get it with the added weight in the back. Mind you I have a Box, amp and oem rim as a spare in the trunk.
