18 button obc - BMW Forum

hey i won a 18 button obc on ebay for like ten bucks

but my car is only wired for 11 im going to do the conversion but while i waite can i just plug the 18 button in with the black connector and just use the check control function and the temp? somebody told me i had to move one or two wires i dont care bout range or mpg i just want the temp and the check control any ideas?

Vincent,

I've read that if you have the digital clock assembly.. portions will work. Otherwise you'll have to change quite a bit of the loom to get it working.

yeah i just want check control and the clock and temp the features i want my car already wired for i dont care about range or nothing else
