View Poll Results: which are better on the e36 17'' or 18'' wheels?
hey guys! i am looking to buy wheels in the near future. i am hoping to get some feed back from the people w/ 17 and 18 inch wheels, pros and cons. i am really hoping for some pictures too!!!!! thanx!!!! B)
the main reason why im doing this is a money issue. i know 18's are more expensive, and the tires needed are more expensive too. is your ride comfort crappy now that u guys have 18s? any close up pics so i can compare the two sizes. thanks a lot
I say 18's for bling and 17's for performance.Prior to my 18's I used to have the stock e46 16's on my 325is and I keep those around for auto-x days. I'll try to dig up some pics of those

17's on mine, AC Schnitzer M3 style, although I wouldn't mind 18's ; I think you get better hold on corners as lower profile, as less give in the sidewalls- a lot can be down to the tyres/tires though.
thanx for all the pics...to all the people w/ 18's can you pic up every bump in the road. because i dont wanna comprimise the ride comfort for my passengers, but i could care less .
I've got 18's on mine and performance is still way the fuck up there....if you do end up getting 18's, make sure they're light as hell. 17's are gonna be a little bit better in performance but 18's look way better and not much performance is affected. BTW, it is still a way smooth ride.
