16'' Rim repair?

Hi, I recently hit a pothole that took out a chunk of metal from the lip of my 16'' alloy rim. Does anyone know any good places that offer quality rim repair services at reasonable rates...or any places that sell used bmw rims?

Hmmmmm.....Its actually creased the rim, if your from the UK, go get a photo of the said pot hole and some sort of evidence where it is out side a house, landmark, bus shelter etc. then one of your wheel and an estimate from BMW for a new one and make a claim at your council, if your in the USA I would expect the same to apply.

You will win a mate of mine burst two nearly new tyres ...........they paid.

The only reason you wont win is if there are signs for uneven road or a sign saying 'POTHOLES' ahead.............

I am in Toronto, Canada and I hear the city here doesn't usually dig out money easiely. But I am going to complain and try my luck

Just remembered last month a friend of mine from Surrey UK hit a speed bump on an unlit road (at night), the hump had been put there that day, no signs and no white markings on the hump..................bill for whole new front suspension by BMW £4700 for a 750il 1998.......council paid.

Well I would go for it ........you pay your road tax for the roads to be usable, unless otherwise stated.
