So the car just rolled over 140k other than selling it and buying a new one what all should be done on the e36 this late in the game? I know all the normals, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, i did the brakes, should i jump into the water pump, timing belt tensioner, I just dont know what is a common problem that goes wrong with these. Any suggestion from personal experience helps. Thanks guys.

Check anything that is rubber and or plastic. Also, take a good look at the suspension components, from struts, shocks, and springs, to control arms and bushings. How is your clutch doing? WHen was teh radiator replaced last?
My car will hit 187,500 miles today. Still runs well, but I have a lot of little things that I need to check.
By the way, your car does not have a timing belt. You are referring to the drive belt tensioner. e36 have a camshaft timing chain, not belt.

Rad seems to be stock that was a thought i had, but was not sure if they have more problems than other cars. Drive belt tensioner should i replace that? I would rather be safe than sorry, also the timing chain? Everything rubber seems to be ok hoses etc. I drove a drag car, so hoses were the first thing i checked. Thanks for the suggestions.
