It's 1025 rwhp at the time. The car belongs to ICS Performance. This is old news. They currently have over 1100 rwhp and are aiming for 1300 rwhp. They're big posters on Bimmerforums. The car is nicknamed the bumble bee. It's Dakar yellow. Decent article.

If I remember correctly, they broke a TRANSMISSION on the highway. : (Something about mashing the pedal in fifth gear or something else insane.)

Yeah, at like 120mph. Crazy power, not useful with the tire setup they were running, but still an insane achievement.
