Hello to all, happy to find this forum. I have managed to put 4.0 ltr V8 in my e30 Baur but not sure about the diff. Can any one help me if the diffs from Z3 or Z4 could be used in e30 rear subframe. As I understand Z3 subframe is the same as e30 but I am not sure if the Z4 rear subframe is same or if the diff from Z4 can be used for my e30.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I'm not sure which diffs will fit, but AFAIK the Z4 subframe is likely to be different since that model marks the shift to multilink (as opposed to semi trailing arms like on the E30) rear suspension in the Z series.

Z3 / Z4 diff in E30
