Your help is appreciated...

Good afternoon, I have two issues to that I wanted to ask for help. My 91' 318is has a soft spot on acceleration, its a small hesitation but its becomeing frustrating.
The second is the braking, when I brake the steering wheel jerks back and forth. I can't pin point the problem so I was wondering if you may have some suggestions.

Gorgeous E30 first off, clean and stock, and reppin a Sport Chalet frame...good man...

First off as far as the suspension 2 things pop to mind....

1) When was the last alignment?
2) What condition are all the suspension bushings in? sounds like they would be the main culprit

As far as the hesitation
1)O2 sensor? when last replaced?
2)Spark Plugs?
3)Fuel Filter?

try keepin it simple first, if those dont check out we have a ton of other possibilities but we will cross that road at that time...

Thank you, I've made some changes to the car but its about 98% original.

Well the previous owner told me that he did an all wheel alignment last year, the spark plugs I replaced a month ago and the O2 sensor is the next thing on my to do list.
As far as the suspension goes, I need to check the bushings to assess the condition.
Its getting worse and my tires are begining to wear uneven, its driving me crazy.
Well thank you for the input, I'll check them this weekend and make the proper changes.

ahh i see the rockers are painted too, interesting, very tough look to pull off on the E30 but it looks pretty good!
