I came back from Germany last August. My wife had been driving my car off and on while I was gone. I let her drive it on the day that we were trading in the Touareg, and someone hits her. It spent a month in the shop and developed a nasty exhaust leak that has been getting louder and louder ever since. Les keep giving me shit about how it sounds "like a civic with a fartcan" pissing me off, but I keep putting off the inevitable. She needs to get inspected this month, so I was going to take care of it....

too late!! Today I'm driving to work, go over the railroad tracks and hear something drop off my car. Yup, you guessed it, the entire exhaust from behind the cat back.: Obviously, it was hot as hell.. but you should hear my car!!

Hehe... something similar happend to my eta.. cept mine got ripped off when fording a river... i knew my car wouldnt ford it because it was too deep (14-ish inches of water) so i just floored it and hoped to glide across it.. well, i made it across, but my exhaust was floating in the middle of the creekbed once i got to the other side..
