| Update: checked for continuity at the pump for hot and ground both show a closed circuit. Resitance at the pump and terminals both read 9.5 ohms. After getting the pump to run on direct 12 volt system I put the pump back in and the car started and ran well for about 15 mins. Then same thing not starting. Also, checked coil resistance and it is looks good. Pulled a plug and cranked and I get fire. Checked icv and plug for correct resistance and or voltage. Icv test good but plug shows low voltage out of one side(?). Went to go check the cold start injector and the car does not appear to have one. I
Tried pulling out any codes but I see no check engine light on the dash. Either the light is blown or could this point to a bad ecu/dme? The only thing I know left to check is the coolant temp sensor? So this is my question... Bad ecu? Fuel pump? Or ?
I might just be making this harder than it needs to be but I don't want to throw a $200 fuel pump in on a guess. Any help is greatly appreciated. |
