Can anyone tell me if a engine harness for a 1984 318i can still be purchased new. If so would anyone know where to go to purchase such ????

I would very much doubt it ! breakers yard would be a good start, but someone somwhere in the world will have one, so maybe a good idea to ask on other BM forums, try ebay!

Marti, is breakers yard a junk yard and if so where at and do they have a website and do they ship

It is a junk yard, and you'd need to actually go to it and look around. They are not well organized or keep an inventory.

There are likely several in your area. They aren't likely to have their own web sites, but an internet search usually brings up a decent list with phone numbers.
