Windsheild wiper fluid light on, dont know why! please help

So on the light board with all the stuff to check, my windshield wiperfluid light is on. It has been like this from the time I bought the car about a month ago. I have plenty of windshield wiper fluid in the container, and it works when i shoot it onto the windshield. I have no idea why it's on, and was just wondering if any of you guys could help me out with some possible suggestions.

sound like you have a faulty wiper fluid level sensor. Replace and it should be fine

check to see if the sensor is not upside down in the holder, try turning it so the flap inside faces down, that can cause a problem light
