Window conversion

I've finally had enough with my stupid power windows. I've tried contact cleaner and anything else I could think of but nothing opens in my car. Is it possible to convert to manual crank windows? How much time/money would it cost and what is the procedure?

Yeah. They work extremely intermittently. I've heard it's a bad solder joint in the window relay, but I'm not positive which relay that is.

If your lights stay on in the switches then power supply isn't the problem. The problem is the contacts in the switches, easy fix. Just be patient and take your switches apart slowly and clean the contacts with a fingernail file or some light grit sand paper, it's a simple switch but if you move too fast you could lose a part. This is very common and it's the cause of about 99.9% of all window switch failures. Also, a bad habit I have found people have is that if the switch doesn't work they think that if they push on the button harder it might. Bad idea, you may also have to bend up the lower contacts as well.
