if it's white smoke, cahnces are you have a crack somewhere in the block and that is coolant burning off, do you have to keep filling you coolant?

If your burning coolant you would definitly be able to smell that in your exhaust and it would continue to come out when your driving. Not just when you first fire it up.

not nessasarilly, once the block heats up, the crack will close if it is small enough, ive seen it happen before. if it is burning oil, the smoke would be blue

well the guy changed the radiator and water pump on it,and i think he didn't put enough water in it to begin with so i filled it up again and it's been fine.. i kinda smell a gasy smell in it in the morning...it was low in oil when i got it so i put some more in it...i will change it after i get back from being deployed and see what happens...i hope it's not a crack or blown head gasket...this will make number 3 in a row i've bought with a BHG and noone told me it had a blown head gasket on any of them...uggh my luck

Sounds just like moistures evaporating out of the exaust system. Is it pretty damp where you live?

Its most likely your rings. Oil is seeping down and when the engine is cold the rings are smaller and oil burns past them. When the engine warms up the rings expand and have a better seal.

Unfortunately, it sounds like a head gasket to me. Probably seals itself up when the block heats up.....
