(bmw 325i '87)i can hear some whisling noises that are not usual in the area of the fuel filter and fuel pump near the rear left wheel. it sound as if there was some sort of leak and air was being sucked into the fuel line. (my car has also some funky idle) i have just changed the fuel filter but nothing really improved and the noises are still there. does any one know what the problem may be? would i hae to replace the fuel pump or could it be that little fuel-pressure valve (or whatever that is) right after the fuel filter. (the car has also long start time aftter sitting for a while - i guess it looses fuel pressure somewhere).

thanks everyone.

Miro
