where is the fuel filter on my model ? thanks !

at highway speeds it sometimes bogs down for just a second then comes right back, sometimes it will do it a half dozen times and then stop, afterwards it runs fine.

on the drivers side, under the fuel tank just in front of the rear tire. really simple to install a new filter.

nope.......not on the 318i.........it should be on the driver's side up in front by the starter.

and if she is bogging down on freeway occasionaly, i would suspect the fuel pump cutting out, but here again you need to test it.

it's on the drivers side right in front of the rear tire, right there, just changed mine so i will check it tommorow on the highway. got gas all over the place !

took about 5 minutes including removing the clamp, i'll need to secure it to the bracket though.

really? i was under the impression the older 318's had them up by the starter, i must be thinking of something else.......my bad.

doesn't seem like very good place for it, it's open to any flak from the road. :
