If I got a 17x7 wheel with a 70 mm offset, what would I need to get it to fit my car?

wow 70mm? are you sure? anyway, if it is, you would need a 45-50mm spacer, about 1.75in.

thats more like it. with et40 wheels you need either 15-20mm spacers, the 20's will give you a slightly wider track and will probably help your overall grip, but 15's are cheaper.

spacers arent bad, i think they were invented by porsche, but make sure you get hubcentric spacers to fit the e30's 57.1mm hub
