I recently spotted this ad in the local paper and checked out the website -

http://www.drive.com.au/used/search/detail.aspx?id=1815026

In short, it's a 1985 2 dr auto 323i with 51,000 km (that's 31,875 miles) in showroom conditon for AUD$15,000 (that's around US$10,500).

My question is - would a similar car attract that price in the US? From what I gather from this forum, E30's seem to sell for comparatively little dough everywhere but where I live.

Worth maybe to the right market. But here it won't fetch more than $6200 on an awesome day.

Don't know what things sell for over there, but in the US you can get a nice M3 for $10,500
