just bought a new e30, red 2 door. it's been lowered but still got the orig 14" rims which are ok, but thinking of getting some new ones, maybe 16". don't want to go bling and destroy the orig BMW style. Anyone have any ideas of whats good?
edit: keep in mind depending on what kind of hubs you have you may need adapters for the wheels i just posted... ie. if you have 4 bolt hubs you will need adapters to run the 5 bolt wheels.
You can buy replica bmw wheels online I found some nice ones for my 325is,I dont know if they have a website but try wheel wizards in hamilton ont canada ,google them there is a phone number, but I also found nice rims on ebay for pretty cheap.
yeh the holy grail of E30 owners a wheel that will fit
our wheels are hubcentric, must have 57.1mm centerbare or you need an adapter/centering ring. pain in the butt
If you dont you get hideous oscillation at about 50-60 mph or so
DForce 5LTW 15x7 25mm offset 4x100 57.1mm center bore (Turner or bimmerworld) $115
Toyo R888 205 50 15 $150 ea
team dynamics
Kosei K1 race cant get em in right offset anymore usually limited runs
Beyern
