this is for a 500hp rotory powered 1976 320A.

i need some advice on what gearbox i could fit. the car is auto atm.

if you could provide top gear ratio with any suggestions that would be great as i want to gear it to top out at around 300kph. or just shy of 190mph

this is a project that im starting shortly. first the body then the mechanicals. i want to figure out all the stuff im using first so that once the body is done i dont have to respray the thing again.

If you are using a Rotary, you should be asking this question of Mazda tuners.

well, the s5 rx7 box is the strongest box that the rotory guys have, short of a dog box. and that box will only JUST hold the power, the moment i bolt on slicks and race it - by by box. just thought that with BMW having such torque and a reputation of over engineering stuff, that thy may have a box that would hold the power. i dont want to go to a dog box if i can help it.
