oh shit i just replaced the headbolts, all 14, I got the old ones out no problem and the new ones went in ok at first, Torque them from the middle to the outside just like the OFFICIAL BMW mechanic told me in steps of 25 ft/lbs, 50, then 75. Fuck the middle one cracked at the top of the block before the head before i even got near 75 ft/lbs. I got so pissed, also after that i couldnt get any of the rest to torque to 75. They all just kept turning, not like it was stripping but more stressing and stretching the bolt. When i went around the block just now i revved up to 5k ( i know i shouldnt have but should have done a breakin again But i was and still am incredibly aggitated and pissed ) and on the release of the throttle I heard PING Then the oil can symbol light in the dash started to blink. Fuck i think im going to sell my car. I cant stand this, i think im going to cry. What should i do? Should i try and blame this on BMW? I did follow his instructions to the point. Also i took off a nice section of my ring finger when it cracked, I liked that section of my finger too...
