Well It Finally Happened

My BMW Totally died... Right before it died it had the most wicked valve tick ive ever heard and it was running like it was skipping a cyl, now it cranks but doesnt catch at all. Think my timing belt broke? I just dont have the time or money to deal with this, so im goin back to my other car. Anyone want parts off it before i get rid of it? *soon* 82 320i Automatic

anyone want the trunk lid, tranny, seats,anything?

what condition are the seats in?
any rust on the left front fender, along the edge bolted to the side of the fire wall ??

the seats are pretty good but the drivers seat is torn up, but the rest are good, and I can check the fender tomorrow. Drivers side is good, no exterior rust that i have noticed, new red paint, passenger side has a dent in it. I can take pics tomorrow

M10 is a chain if I remember correctly, the M20 was the first rubber band cam for BMW and the last.

Edit: It sounds like you broke a valve lifter.

so the chain blowing means whole car is screwed then right?
