WATs Better a 318i or a 320i ???

yea i want to know wat would work better my e21 1983 or my e30 318i 1984 ??? the e21 is auto Tranny the 318i is 5 speed wat do you think is better ?? giveme Hp Listings and wiich one would be bette in the long run? thanxs

You make no sense. Slow down and try again, please. I'm sure some one will be able to help you.

'84 318i - 101hp

The e21 has no rev limiter on the engine. You could take it to 9k and back if you wished to do such a thing. Although, I'm not sure about the auto tranny.

whats the designation for the e36 318? m54? I dunno whatever that is. That is an awesome engine to drop into the 320 body.

The E36 came with either the M42 DISA or the M44 '96 on.

Same here I'd go with the 318i, Even though i owned a 320i with a Flat 4. But the thing that attracts me is the light wieght w/ the body of the e30 and basically because its a 5 speed :-p
