Vinyl Seats In A 1990 325i?

Hey all,

Thank you for all of the help in steering me in the right direction as I try to get into an e30.

I saw one in my area yesterday, a 1990 325i, with 136k miles, good condition, it could possibly ....The one thing that I noticed was that there were vinyl seats in the car, the owner said that the seats used to be cloth and he just replaced them. I thought the 1990 325i came with leather seats? Is that the case? Could this just be a lower level trim? If so, what other options are missing? It has the standard sunroof, ac, etc.

umm...he might just be confused, cuz the leather seats kinda look vinyl, at least in my car. i have a 318is. or it could be that only the IS models have leather seats...i dunno, you should check it out yourself
