Bentley repair manual 4-12 --> 11 ft lbs.

yes the valve cover gasket you barely even need a wrench on...you could almost do that with with your bare hands/fingers...very little torque is required..otherwise you run the risk of excessively compressing the gasket and thus forcing a leak after the engine heats up.....make sure you tighten in the proper order as well....good luck there
