Umm Changing Belts On An M42

ok so i finally bought new belts(the squeaking got really bad). THey are the better grade ones..14 bucks each or something...hopefully its worth it.
But anyways anyone have any pointers or has anyone done it before? Am i going to have to take out the radiator or what? My dad and I can do it...i just want a heads up.

I also bought some belt spray that should help the belts last longer...anyone know about this stuff..supposed to be good?

what is the stuff called? if its belt dressing dont use it it dries out the belts...

The best tip i can offer is consult your Bentley Manual...

1/2 inch of slack in the belts....NO MORE NO LESS!!!!!.

alright i wont use the belt dressing then...it works on the old belts...no squeaking till i change them atleast

I dont have abently....expensive..but i got a chilton maual from Kragen...it doesnt have very good directions/pointers. Ima do it today with my dad, wither that or tomarow ill send it in to this BMW guy i know, he can prolly change them in like two hours. (ill go xmas shopping meanwhile)
